What options should I use while scanning a photo?

Choose “picture” scanning from the menu. Enter your DPI (dots per inch or PPI, pixels per inch). You can get an identical replica of your original photo at 300 DPI. A 4″x6″ photo will result from scanning it at 300 DPI. Scan the image in at 600-900 DPI if you want to double or treble the size.

What size photo should I send?

Send the biggest file you have at all times. This guarantees the greatest work when retouching photos and the maximum reproduction quality. Ideally, you should upload your photo in RGB color mode at 300 dpi at the ultimate size that you desire.
